In the future, the mob sends back people (through time traveling) they want to be disposed off by individuals known as Loopers. Joe (Gordon Joseph-Levitt) is a Looper and leads the fast life of drugs, woman and guns. Each Looper however, is given employment up until the day the mob decides to terminate your services by "closing the loop". This would mean that they would actually send back the Looper's future self to be shot by the present self (what?) . All is fine and dandy until the Loopers realised that all of them are being closed down.
BANG! You're dead in the future
Both JGL and Bruce Willis are great bouncing off each other's personality. Joe is hard headed and a junkie which means he really doesn't care for anyone else. How would you feel fighting against yourself? Are we any better as we get older? As you'll discover later on in the film, they both have a goal and a mission and won't stop at anything to achieve it. It's this selfish behavior is what drives the film on as you have relatively no idea which way the movie will be heading. There was also a retro-oldskool-styling to the characters and the setting. I think one reason for this is to somehow really keep a timelessness feel to it.
Joe discovered male pattern baldness is never a light issue
The movie has a good balance of story, love, violence, indie and all around nice feelings. It will keep you extremely intrigued if you're a sci-fiction fan. Looper feels very original to the whole time-traveling idea and I doubt that you'd be dozing off. However nowadays it's quite hard to have long attention span when most movies have an extremely "fast-impress me now cause I paid 12 bucks for it" feel to them. Means that most moviegoers will be wondering "WAH I HAVE TO THINK?". Yes you might have to be patient about it but I tell you when you finish watching it, it will leave a lasting impression and what films has done that for you lately anyways?

Definitely watch it! It's not just an out right sci-fi movie but it's got a great storyline me thinks..
haha i don't know how to fix it (the header) so it's kinda just there. Having said that check out the neat logo of the whale eating popcorn! :)
