Upon a routine protection job in Istanbul, ex-CIA operative Bryan Mills is suddenly a target from the people (relatives) he had murdered while rescuing his daughter the last time. He must now battle through the city to stop them from taking the people he loves once more.
The Force is strong with this one
Really didn't feel like writing anything about this film but decided to have a bit of a disclaimer and warning if you're about to continue reading. This film is utter crap. It is such a big let down from the surprisingly entertaining first film. How it became this is anyone's guess. The movie starts off sort of well with the usual "hey I'm here to avenge the death of some random extras from the first film" scenario but just doesn't carry enough weight to keep you interested for the rest of the film. You wait quite a while for the action to start but when it does you sort of ask yourself exactly how old is Liam Neeson already? Everything seems alot slower compared to the first film. His movements weeps of a tired man asking himself why oh why did I say yes to this sequel.
Listen to me.. Helllo? Can you hear me? Hello..?
Taken 2 tries to woo you with some subpar level action and with a plot so meaningless makes you slowly ponder suicide during the film. It is nothing like the first film and please don't waste your money with this one.

apparently Liam converted to Muslim whilst shooting in Istanbul cos he kept on hearing the azan....
